006: Sense of Solitude (2023)

“Sense of Solitude” is a video installation that delves into the emotional landscape of isolation. Set in Melbourne, this documentary invites viewers to explore solitude as an evolving, multifaceted experience. A quiet, neglected corner in the city becomes a canvas for introspection.

In “Sense of Solitude,” the interplay between human presence and the urban environment creates a dialogue that could be interpreted in each viewer’s perception. The piece captures fleeting moments, from waves to plants swaying in the wind, reflecting the tension between quiet and subtle movements. This visual narrative prompts viewers to interact with the space around them, encouraging a deeper understanding of how solitude manifests in personal and shared environments.

This video installation was entirely self-produced, shot, edited, and scored by me. It was filmed using a Canon 5D4 camera, with minor modifications made during post-production using Adobe Premiere.
