002: Artificial Artist

The discussion on repidly developing relationship between artists and artificial intellegence.

AI is relevant in many aspects of our lives today. But what about art? Can artificial intelligence replace artists and create expressive music, paintings, and poetry? We humans need art: to express emotion, communicate and educate. This project explores and discusses the relationship between artificial intelligence and art.

This was my first project at RMIT university. I checked online and found quite a few artists working with AI programs to create artwork. This is what I want to know more about.

Unity is a complex and new part, but designing a digital gallery is fun to do. In order to start this project, I had to collect my paintings/drawings. I wanted to make the gallery look attractive, so I used an artificial intelligence program to generate my works into many different styles.
